Terms / Conditions

  • Products will be shipped on receipt of payment.
  • Please do not send cash in the post.
  • Payment by PayPal or personal cheques.
  • Alert cards are not refundable.
  • Items bought via E-bay may be charged at a higher rate to account for E-Bay fees.

By purchasing an emergency alert or any other card, Information for Independence or Mrs Donna Louise Watch can not be held responsible

  • for the use of Alert or Identification Cards or
  • any actions taken as a result of the Alert or Identification Card being found or
  • any actions taken as a result of the Alert or Identification Card not being found

at any time.

Card holders are responsible for the information contained on the card and actions carried out as a result of any person using this information.

Data Protection

We provide personalised alert cards where you are asked to porivde us with the information to print on your card.

We understand that this information may relate to your person details, personal details of your family / emergency contact, medical details and data concerning faith or belief.

How we protect your information.

  • We are registed under the Data Protection Act 1998. Our number is Z113878X.

Our method:

  • You may provide information be E-mail. When advise that e-mails are sent from 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday. We do this because the information is delivered directly to the person who will print and send your card.
  • Any e-mail you send us is immediately deleted from the 'server'. Only the person printing and sending your card will then have access to that information.
  • Your details may be phoned through to the person who will print and send your card.
  • Your card will be printed within 3 days subject to us closing for holiday periods. Your data will be stored on a single computer during this time.
  • Any data stored on our computer will be password protected. Only the person who will print and send your card will have access to this data.
  • Once your card is printed, it is laminated and sent to you on the same day.
  • Once your card has been printed, all the details that you have asked to be printed on the card are permanently deleted from our compter and not held in paper or electronic format.
  • We will retain you name and address for customer care and billing purposes / our accounts.
  • Your information (other than your name and address) may be seen a Personal Assistant. This will be during the sealing of your card for postage. This will be done in the presence of the person who has been printing your card.
